It has to be said, where they have defunded the police and are no longer enforcing the law with no bail catch and release (even violent offenders who are a threat to society), crime is indeed risen exponentially, so people are no longer reporting much of it because nothing is done and no one shows up. So to say there is no issue and the statistics back this up is an outright lie. But it is starting to show that they’re grooming society for a police state and ultimately national police. I’d flee any blue major cities as if your life depends on it, because it does. Consequently, this is the true face of the Demonrat Party. And remember how they nationalized airport security and instituted harmful x-ray scans and physical searches as a precursor to how you’ll be treated by a national police force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Democrat Gov Kathy Hochul has delivered a troubling message to New Yorkers who don\u2019t agree with having their bags searched while they travel on NYC\u2019s subway system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Slay News reported<\/a>, New York City has brought its controversial stop and frisk policy as the Big Apple suffers soaring crime rates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NYC\u2019s public transit system has seen a disturbing increase in crimes committed against passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday, the city\u2019s Democrat Mayor Eric Adams announced the plans to bring back random bag checks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mayor said he also wants more police patrolling the subways as the city attempts to curb a massive crime increase under his watch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NYC has suffered an almost 20% increase in crime levels during the first two months of 2024 compared to the same period last year, according to NYPD data cited by the New York Post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were three homicides in the underground system over January and February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Incidents such as grand larcenies, felony assaults, and robberies have also skyrocketed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uncoincidentally, the crime rates have soared during the same period that the \u201csanctuary city\u201d has been flooded<\/a> with illegal aliens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nearly 1,000 members of the New York state police, MTA police, and National Guard were reportedly deployed throughout NYC\u2019s busiest subway stations on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have been deployed to allegedly help curb a spike in transit crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cameras will be installed<\/a> throughout subway stations as a hopeful deterrent to criminals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, those using New York\u2019s trains will have their belongings checked<\/a> before traveling, according to tweets posted Wednesday by Hochul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGuess what? We\u2019re going to take some strong action,\u201d Hochul told<\/a> Good Day New York (GDNY).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no [stop] and frisk, there\u2019s no profiling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll this is a deterrent, saying, \u2018you want to commit a crime? Go somewhere else, not on our subways\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To this, the hosts pushed Hochul on the bag-searching aspect of the new policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apparently, this process will be done \u201crandomly.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those New Yorkers who don\u2019t want their bag searched, the governor had some choice words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen go home,\u201d Hochul blasted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019re not going to search you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou can say no. But you\u2019re not taking the subway.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GDNY hosts didn\u2019t push any further on this topic, however.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, they moved the conversation on to general lawlessness within the subway stations and around NYC in general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hochul said the decision to protect her constituents was based more on their \u201cfeelings,\u201d \u201cemotions\u201d and \u201cpsychology\u201d rather than actual statistical rises in crime rates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
