{"id":6541,"date":"2024-02-26T07:59:52","date_gmt":"2024-02-26T14:59:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jasonsblog.ddns.net\/?p=6541"},"modified":"2024-02-26T07:59:52","modified_gmt":"2024-02-26T14:59:52","slug":"wait-for-the-god-of-salvation-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jasonsblog.ddns.net\/index.php\/2024\/02\/26\/wait-for-the-god-of-salvation-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Wait for the God of Salvation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Micah was a watchman sent by God to warn Israel and Judah of God&#8217;s impending judgement for all their iniquity, but in the last chapter is a wonderful view to the Millennial Kingdom when Christ rules the world having taken over from the <a href=\"https:\/\/jasonsblog.ddns.net\/index.php\/2023\/04\/15\/why-bible-believing-christians-should-expect-conspiracies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">usurper Satan<\/a>, and there are these wonderful verses giving treasured insight into our God and Savior. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Micah 7:18\u201320<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>God\u2019s Steadfast Love and Compassion<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>&#91;18] Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity\n    and passing over transgression\n    for the remnant of his inheritance?\nHe does not retain his anger forever,\n    because he delights in steadfast love.\n&#91;19] He will again have compassion on us;\n    he will tread our iniquities underfoot.\nYou will cast all our sins\n    into the depths of the sea.\n&#91;20] You will show faithfulness to Jacob\n    and steadfast love to Abraham,\nas you have sworn to our fathers\n    from the days of old.
