This is a propaganda piece to promote gender affirming healthcare and grooming, but lets look at the study statistic that 41% of young LGBTQ kids have contemplated suicide. Could it have anything to do with the grooming by parents, teachers, and therapists (the rapists) into this Maoist gender dysphoria<\/a>, or doctors cashing in on lifetime gender drugs and mutilation procedures. Planned parenthood will give transition drugs, and could that have something to do with their mental disorders? How many are on some type of antidepressant they’re trying to give to everyone these days through tons of telehealth services with billions invested? Consequently, suicidal thoughts and actions are common drug side effects as I see their television advertisements. And this “gender affirming healthcare” is 1984 word salad for things that will mar and maim these children for life, and the whole thing is evil and Satanic to its core. And ultimately, many parents are involved in doing this to their children, a form of sacrificing their children to their god Satan, and a sin that might exclude them from God’s call to repentance because they’ve seared their consciences and hardened their hearts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

NEW YORK (PIX11) \u2014 A new mental health survey out Monday from The Trevor Project shows 41% of LGBTQ young people seriously contemplated attempting suicide in the last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organization surveyed more than 28,000 LGBTQ people aged 13-24 nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The survey also found that 81% of LGBTQ young people wanted mental health care in the past year, but of those, 56% did not receive any.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI know so many people who have attempted, who have suicidal thoughts,\u201d said Alex Carroll, a member of the nonprofit NYC Youth 4 Trans Rights. \u201cI think it\u2019s shocking, but I think it\u2019s the hard truth that everyone needs to know.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m in that 41%, and once you\u2019re in it, it\u2019s really hard to get out of it, even if you have a super great support system,\u201d said Kat Garcia, a member of NYC Youth for Trans Rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMiddle school was a really tough time,\u201d said Quinn Canales, a transgender college student who is also part of the non-profit. \u201cI personally attempted twice because I was not able to get the proper help I needed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canales, Garcia and Carroll all attest to the life-saving benefits of mental health resources and a good support system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI have very great counselors at my school,\u201d said Garcia. \u201cIf I hadn\u2019t been feeling like I was able to talk to them, I don\u2019t know what I\u2019d be doing. I don\u2019t know what I\u2019d be feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Psychologist Dr. Jeffrey Gardere said we will continue to see higher suicide rates within the LGBTQ community until they have the support, respect and love they deserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere aren\u2019t enough services out there,\u201d said Dr. Gardere. \u201cThere is not enough cultural sensitivity, cultural competence, with the providers who are providing that care.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to The Trevor Project, nearly one in three LGBTQ young people said their mental health was poor most of the time or all of the time because of anti-LGBTQ policies and legislation. Clark Wolff Hamel with PFlag NYC noted that the current political climate is a contributing factor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTeenagers \u2013 young people especially between the ages of 13-18 \u2013 are watching this play out,\u201d said Hamel. \u201cAnd no matter where they live, no matter where they\u2019re located, they are scared. And that affects their mental health.\u201d More Local News<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to The Trevor Project\u2019s research, just a little understanding and support can go a long way. LGBTQ young people reported lower rates of attempted suicide if they had access to affirming spaces and gender-neutral school bathrooms and lived with people who respect their pronouns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJust using a trans child\u2019s chosen name, just doing that consistently, makes a massive difference,\u201d said Hamel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs little as a name could really help and could really make someone\u2019s day,\u201d said Canales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raven Benjamin, also a member of NYC Youth 4 Trans Rights, said she wants to be treated like anyone else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou need to realize that we\u2019re people, too,\u201d said Benjamin. We\u2019re not that different from you. We were just born in the wrong body. And we shouldn\u2019t be treated badly for that.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
