And the whole purpose of this existence is for God to find His children who are also finding Him and proving their faith before the heavenly host and the fallen angels, with Satan and his rebellious children to be purged from us for the rest of eternity. Consequently, the choices in this life will reverberate through eternity with tragic consequences for some, and magnificent rewards for all those who listened to God and received His perfect gift. At last we know why the corporate world has fallen in love with pretend woman Dylan Mulvaney. As I noted<\/a> Thursday, he seems to be everywhere all at once, and it seems unlikely that corporate giants are suddenly so taken with Dylan\u2019s charm and wit that they are spontaneously all at once falling over themselves to make him their pitchman. But now we know why there is this sudden imperative to make this man America\u2019s sweetheart: corporations are being strong-armed into featuring him, or else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New York Post<\/em> reported<\/a> Friday that \u201cexecutives at companies like Nike, Anheuser-Busch and Kate Spade, whose brand endorsements have turned controversial trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney into today\u2019s woke \u2018It girl,\u2019 aren\u2019t just virtue signaling.\u201d Instead, they\u2019re paying the modern-day equivalent of Mafia protection money, trying to keep the heat off their business: they\u2019re hiring Dylan and making other displays of wokeness \u201cbecause they have to \u2014 or risk failing an all-important social credit score that could make or break their businesses.\u201d If they don\u2019t inflict woke advertising campaigns on us, they\u2019re liable to do damage to their Corporate Equality Index<\/a> (CEI) score, which could be disastrous for their business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Watching corporations and tallying up their CEI score is the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), which the Post <\/em>describes as \u201cthe largest LGBTQ+ political lobbying group in the world,\u201d noting that it has gotten \u201cmillions\u201d from George Soros\u2019 far-Left Open Society Foundation. HRC gives corporations points for being gay-friendly and subtracts them for daring not to toe the woke line. It does this based on \u201crating criteria<\/a>\u201d that award up to 100 points for workplace features such as a \u201cgender-neutral dress code\u201d and \u201cdata collection forms\u201d that feature \u201coptional questions on sexual orientation and gender identity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main CEI categories include \u201cWorkforce Protections,\u201d \u201cInclusive Benefits,\u201d \u201cSupporting an Inclusive Culture,\u201d \u201cCorporate Social Responsibility,\u201d and \u201cResponsible Citizenship.\u201d According to the Post<\/em>, \u201cbusinesses that attain the maximum 100 total points earn the coveted title \u2018Best Place To Work For LGBTQ Equality.\u201d The corporate giants have eagerly fallen into line: \u201cFifteen of the top 20 Fortune-ranked companies received 100% ratings last year, according to HRC data.<\/a>\u201d Nor is it just the top corporations: \u201cMore than 840 US companies racked up high CEI scores, according to the latest report.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HRC doesn\u2019t give a company a chance to dissent politely from the LGBTQ agenda: a sure way to get a low CEI score is, for example, not using a \u201csupplier diversity program with demonstrated effort to include certified LGBTQ+ suppliers.\u201d Compliance is strictly enforced. According to political commentator James Lindsay, the HRC \u201csends representatives to corporations every year telling them what kind of stuff they have to make visible at the company. They give them a list of demands and if they don\u2019t follow through there\u2019s a threat that you won\u2019t keep your CEI score.\u201d Entities such as the HRC issue threats because threats work, as we can see from the ubiquity of Dylan Mulvaney.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CEI isn\u2019t even close to all of the woke pressure on corporations today. The Post<\/em> notes that it is actually \u201ca lesser-known part of the burgeoning ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) \u201cethical investing\u201d movement<\/a> increasingly pushed by the country\u2019s top three investment firms. ESG funds invest in companies that oppose fossil fuels, push for unionization, and stress racial and gender equity over merit in hiring and board selection.\u201d What chance does a patriotic CEO stand against this kind of pressure?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is why corporations seem so unanimously woke and unafraid to offend patriots: they know that \u201cGo woke, go broke\u201d is just a slogan, and that patriots have no equivalent to the ESG movement. Entrepreneur and presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy explained, \u201cThe big fund managers like BlackRock all embrace this ESG orthodoxy in how they apply pressure to top corporate management teams and boards and they determine, in many cases, executive compensation and bonuses and who gets re-elected or re-appointed to boards. They can make it very difficult for you if you don\u2019t abide by their agendas.\u201d Yes, they can. So expect to see much, much more of Dylan Mulvaney. And when the string-pullers finally get tired of watching him prance around, they\u2019ll just get another puppet.
