My only quibble is recommending Bazzite for an immutable distro that relies on Flatpaks. I hate <a href=\"https:\/\/jasonsblog.ddns.net\/index.php\/2022\/06\/21\/flatpak-is-the-future-of-linux-application-management\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Flatpaks<\/a> and Snaps with a passion, Flatpaks being promoted by IBM\/Red Hat and Snap by Ubuntu with dreams of curated and profitable app stores like Google Play&#8230; and to also limit what software you can install down the road if not vetted by them. If you want to use a containerized package on Linux, use the open <a href=\"https:\/\/appimage.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AppImage<\/a> packages, which is a convenient way for developers to release niche software so it will work on any Linux distribution, though usually also offered as .deb package for Debian, which the Arch AUR can convert for Arch. And you can also always compile packages natively too, and that can be automated in the Arch AUR with scripting as well making it easy to update or remove, though beware the Arch AUR is user submitted and you should audit the package, contributor, and changes to the scripting. And everything here that isn&#8217;t a Raspberry Pi is running Arch based <a href=\"https:\/\/distrowatch.com\/table.php?distribution=endeavour\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EndeavorOS<\/a>, basically vanilla Arch with a very easy installer and some extra helpful utilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Your Linux Distro Doesn&amp;apos;t Matter\" width=\"1290\" height=\"726\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FBvDVwQ9OpI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a pretty good video giving a real overview of Linux distributions.
