Consequently, I bought a Coldcard Q to play with, but having seen the profane Rodolfo Novak in interviews and examining the hardware along with the change of their software license, I’d never trust using it for a significant amount of Bitcoin, which showed to be a great assessment, And there’s a subtle justice here in that the makers of Coldcard, Coinkite, have trashed Trezor pretty badly in the past for minor issues, and Trezor puts out this classy informative video on the Coldcard debacle to help some of their customers if they haven’t taken steps to protect themselves from actually having their funds stolen. And I’m of the opinion that the one cofounder did this deliberately, as he brushed off someone trying to bring it to his attention, and then how the timing of the thefts occurred going into BIP-110 with the suitcoiner banker assets fighting for the control of Bitcoin (possibly he was a nation state intelligence asset). If Rodolfo is sitting on a large amount of Bitcoin because he got in early, he really should take care of the customers he let down, as I don’t think he’s in on the theft. And it was a lot of regular people’s life savings that were stolen.

This is a good video on why I was always fond of Trezor while all the Bitcoin influencers were going on about Coldcard devices.
