I&#8217;d just sit back and watch, and get your Bitcoin stored safely and close any Lightning channels&#8230; If the BIP-110 side decides to hard fork because miners fight node runners, there should be some mechanism to safely separate your coins on both chains, so you can convert one side over to the other eventually (might be free money if played right). Though, the price of each will change, so selling or converting one over to the other won&#8217;t work out exactly like Matt demonstrated, but his example was simplified for the presentation. Also, it will take time for exchanges to support both chains. I converted Bitcoin into a couple Monero for crypto spending until this battle settles down, and with Bitcoin turmoil, it might even increase in value. Consequently, it should be fun to watch the Bitcoin fight while enjoying the UFC fights come Saturday. And best to remember that mining pools are made up of people with their own mining hardware which can leave the pools, so there is an additional risk to mining pools that won&#8217;t signal BIP-110 in losing a lot of mining hashrate.
