Deputies also located amphetamines, which are controlled stimulants. This setup is common in illegal racing known as a \u201cCannonball Run,\u201d where suspects speed from coast to coast. Vehicles are often modified to look similar to law enforcement cruisers to avoid detection, contain heavily modified fuel systems, and are outfitted for a nonstop endurance drive,\u201d LCSO said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A \u201cCannonball Run\u201d is an illegal underground race from New York to Los Angeles that dates back to the early 1970s.
