Salvation comes from God and is not the work of man, so if you&#8217;re clinging onto anything else, you&#8217;re deluding yourself. And it&#8217;s a strange thing that many supposed &#8220;Christian&#8221; and other false religions have at their heart human pride, that by being good and with human effort you can save yourself and make into the kingdom of God which God said will not work.
