And the main reason I had left AT&amp;T through a voluntary layoff was they were using an Indian development firm, Mahindra LTD, to develop new systems, and the foreign programmer&#8217;s product was trash. I was spending so much of my day on trouble tickets, and not getting very good support, which had me ready to quit when the voluntary layoff was announced. And fortunately it was through HR where local management couldn&#8217;t intervene.
