This also is highlighting who the enemies of opensource are by trying to add age verification into all these system packages. We&#8217;ll have to see how distributions react by either including or excluding this unwanted trash. But it does show that governments and their partner big tech megacorps are not neglecting Linux in incrementally building towards digital ID and eventually agentic AI to spy on you.
