An interesting article, and how does it not warrant re-opening the case. Beyond Courtney, who has the power to make the medical examiner and the police write a bad report, and force the police to not re-open the case. And the man claiming to have been contacted to murder Cobain, who passed a polygraph for the documentary, to then suffer an accidental death like that. And it just goes to show you, run afoul of the wrong people and you can be suicided, and they can cover it up, even if you’re a Supreme Court justice found with a pillow on your head at an elite resort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back in 1994, grunge rocker Kurt Cobain, from the band Nirvana, was found dead with what was ruled \u2018a self-inflicted shotgun wound\u2019 at his Seattle home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

King County Medical Examiner ruled his death a suicide, but a new forensic examination is challenging these findings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNow, an unofficial private sector team of forensic scientists has put fresh eyes on Cobain\u2019s autopsy and crime scene materials, bringing in Brian Burnett, a specialist who previously worked on cases involving overdoses followed by gunshot trauma.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Independent researcher Michelle Wilkins, who worked with the team, told Daily Mail that after just three days looking into the evidence with fresh eyes, Burnett said: \u2018This is a homicide. We\u2019ve got to do something about this\u2019.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just two months into 2026 and here we are with quite the surprise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe peer-reviewed paper presented ten points of evidence suggesting Cobain was confronted by one or more assailants who forced a heroin overdose to incapacitate him, before one of them shot him in the head, placed the gun in his arms and left behind a forged suicide note.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018There are things in the autopsy that go, well, wait, this person didn\u2019t die very quickly of a gunshot blast\u2019, Wilkins said, pointing to organ damage associated with oxygen deprivation. \u2018The necrosis of the brain and liver happens in an overdose. It doesn\u2019t happen in a shotgun death\u2019.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A spokesperson from the Seattle Police Department said they\u2019ve seen nothing to date that would warrant re-opening of the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is not the first time Cobain\u2019s death is said to be a murder. In 1998, the documentary \u2018Kurt & Courtney\u2019 featured Courtney Love\u2019s father, Hank Harrison, expressing his belief that his daughter was involved in a conspiracy related to Kurt Cobain\u2019s death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only that, but in the same documentary, a man called Eldon \u2018El Duce\u2019 Hoke claimed he was contacted to carry out the murder, allegedly offered $50,000 by Courtney Love to kill Cobain and make it look like a suicide. Hoke passed a polygraph test on it, but eight days after being interviewed for the Kurt & Courtney documentary, he died after being hit (and decapitated) by a freight train in Riverside, California.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
