Chick-Fil-A started as a true Christian organization, but when it changed to the next generation they’ve repeatedly caved to the culture. And they were poisoning customers with bad ingredients like the other secular fast food megacorps. Consequently, we don’t eat there, as I find an organization that betrays its Christian values worse than a secular megacorp which isn’t trying to deceive you. And the Cathy family member that was running the organization back in the BLM days did that stunt of washing rapper Lecrae’s shoes which I found distasteful. It’s a shame that quality organizations get corrupted when they hit the next generation who join the conspiracy with the other OCGFC billionaires, Owners and Controllers of Global Financialized Capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a general rule of thumb, if you\u2019re someone who runs a business, it\u2019s never <\/em>a good idea to alienate your core constituency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From running a sports team, to running a tech company, to running \u2014 oh yes \u2014 a Chick-fil-A, that simple business philosophy can save you a lot of trouble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One Chick-fil-A franchisee in Orem, Utah (if that sounds at all familiar to you, it\u2019s where Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated) apparently decided that it is <\/em>a good idea to alienate your core customer base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As first reported on by The Washington Stand<\/a>, one Utah Chick-fil-A apparently didn\u2019t realize that a large portion of the company\u2019s most loyal national customer base is made of evangelical Christians, who\u2019ve always aligned with the restaurant chain\u2019s biblical stances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or, they did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Wednesday, this Chick-fil-A location put up a Facebook<\/a> post congratulating a newly betrothed couple. On its face, there\u2019s obviously nothing wrong with that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But then you realize that it\u2019s a homosexual couple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(And note the fire Chick-fil-A is under. That\u2019s the only post on their Facebook page that appears to have a restriction on who can comment on it.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the very least, this celebratory post flies directly in the face of Scripture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It doesn\u2019t get much clearer than Leviticus 20:13<\/a>: \u201cIf a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And yet here\u2019s this Utah Chick-fil-A claiming to be \u201cbeyond happy\u201d for what Leviticus clearly describes as an \u201cabomination.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Does that make any <\/em>sense to you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadly, as much as I\u2019d like to give the restaurant chain as a whole the benefit of the doubt, there\u2019s been mounting evidence that this wasn\u2019t some rogue one-off franchisee, but is more emblematic of a much deeper rot at the fast food chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, as reports<\/a> have shown, Chick-fil-A is notoriously selective with its franchisees. Vetting these franchisees is supposedly one of the pillars of the restaurant\u2019s success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As The Washington Stand<\/a> noted, in 2019, the restaurant crumpled to leftist pressure and stopped donating to the Salvation Army and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guess where the money went instead? The proudly anti-Christian Southern Poverty Law Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make matters worse, Chick-fil-A was also exposed for donating hundreds of thousands of dollars to Covenant House \u2014 a non-profit that tries to help kids in need\u2026 with programs like drag queen story hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Washington Stand added that, even apart from these past incidents, the company is still actively employing a \u201cvice president of DEI.\u201d Again, wouldn\u2019t DEI fly directly in the face of the truth that God created all humans equal and bearing His image? Chick-fil-A feels compelled to favor one group of people over the other, and that\u2019s indisputable with that DEI position still existing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This all being said, yes, this is just one location. Yes, the food there is still good. And yes, Chick-fil-A is probably still preferable to a secular fast food chain. (Faith-based or not, Chick-fil-A is certainly better than Long John Silver\u2019s.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But if the company continues to insist on alienating its customer base with these schemes, they will assuredly lose a chunk of their most fervent base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
