And for this to truly work, you need to allow others to use the code as well, or you just won&#8217;t get developers looking into the code like those developing products would. I say that to call out Coinkite which I believe is the other hardware wallet company that called them out for not having a secure element in documentation I saw on their own website, who also doesn&#8217;t allow their code to be used in commercial products, so not truly opensource, only &#8220;source available&#8221;. All that to say, Trezor creating their own secure element chip that is auditable is a major security improvement for hardware wallets.
