And there are some good tips, most of which I already employ. And feel free to use my <a href=\"https:\/\/jasonsblog.ddns.net\/index.php\/2025\/04\/26\/privacy-search-proxies-searxng-and-whoogle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SearxNG<\/a> instance for search, checked for updates daily. So if you have a few that you need but aren&#8217;t the most privacy respecting, Force Stop them until you need them, and when finished Force Stop them again. Most apps will run in the background as a default of Android with no easy way to prevent this. As I go back into app info, the Force Stop option is grayed out showing they&#8217;re still stopped. Given that Android is really a data gathering operation, they make the default that all this stuff runs and can spy on you.
