The big breakthrough with this chip is it&#8217;s not concealed behind an NDA, Non-Disclosure Agreement, where you&#8217;re not allowed to say anything about the device, e.g. disclosing you found a vulnerability to warn other people using the chip. In a previous <a href=\"https:\/\/jasonsblog.ddns.net\/index.php\/2025\/10\/23\/trustless-by-design-trezor-reveals-a-new-standard-in-crypto-security\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">video<\/a> they talked about breaking into a secure element device in testing that the manufacturer wouldn&#8217;t even fix, and they couldn&#8217;t disclose what they found, with competitors who still use the vulnerable chip.
