I had an early investigative piece<\/a> on Graham Platner, the Bernie Sanders endorsed Senate candidate, was not working class (he\u2019s the grandson of a world famous architect, the son of a lawyer who went to a prep school) and not a disillusioned veteran, but was a longtime leftist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But Dems were sitting on a much bigger pot of opposition research which included Platner\u2019s past Reddit history in which he claimed that he was a Communist<\/a> and that white rural people were stupid and racist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBastards. Cops are bastards.\u201d Platner replied, \u201cAll of them, in fact.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n In another since-removed post from 2020, Platner responded to a thread titled \u201cWhite people aren\u2019t as racist or stupid as Trump thinks\u201d by writing, \u201cLiving in white rural America, I\u2019m afraid to tell you they actually are.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n Could things get worse? There was Planter\u2019s reported self-identification as an \u201cAntifa Supersoldier\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But no, that didn\u2019t do it, the SS tattoo however is making Platner a truly national figure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A video showed Platner with an SS Nazi tattoo. Graham Platner claimed that he got it when he was drunk and didn\u2019t know it was a Nazi \u2018Death\u2019s Head\u2019 tattoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Except he apparently did<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u201cHe said, \u2018Oh, this is my Totenkopf,\u2019\u201d the former acquaintance told Jewish Insider recently, speaking on the condition of anonymity to address a sensitive issue. \u201cHe said it in a cutesy little way.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n Now, Platner is committing to having Mein Totenkopf removed. Which really isn\u2019t the issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Having a phrase like \u2018I am not a secret Nazi\u2019 come out of your mouth is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But in a kind of Hitler-Stalin pact, in which Graham Platner seems more than able to play both sides, leftists, including Bernie Sanders, are standing behind a man some are now calling Maine Fuhrer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Asked about the SS tattoo, Bernie Sanders, who can\u2019t handle questions, let alone tough questions, ranted that \u201cwe don\u2019t have enough candidates in this country that will take on the powers that be and fight for the working class\u201d and you can\u2019t be too critical of fake working class guys with Nazi tattoos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Much like the rest of the Platner campaign, it only got better<\/a> from there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIn all due respect, all right, what I\u2019m worried about, 50,000 Americans may die unnecessarily? And you\u2019re worried about a tattoo?\u201d Bernie ranted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When I asked about his comments about sexual assault, he said \u201cHave you served four tours of duty?\u201d I said \u201cI have not.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n Horseshoe theory doesn\u2019t get any better than this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
