And when they&#8217;re using labs in other suspect countries, you have to conclude it&#8217;s because what they&#8217;re doing is illegal here. Melinda Gates Foundation, and several world governments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SII supplies vaccines to more than 170 countries and is \u201cwell known for its rapid response work during infectious disease outbreaks.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new project will be supported by up to $16.4 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter is-resized\"><a class=\"image-link image2\" href=\"https:\/\/cepi.net\/serum-institute-india-and-cepi-supercharge-pandemic-response-preparedness-targeting-h5n1https:\/\/cepi.net\/serum-institute-india-and-cepi-supercharge-pandemic-response-preparedness-targeting-h5n1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/substackcdn.com\/image\/fetch\/$s_!voAG!,w_1456,c_limit,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep\/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Ffaf695db-ca2c-4a0f-9054-1545669c2672_593x818.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:425px;height:auto\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The effort is meant to \u201cboost pandemic response preparedness\u201d for bird flu and serve \u201cas a prototype for a potential Disease X\u2014an as-yet-unknown pathogen with pandemic potential.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new avian flu jab will utilize a \u2018baculovirus\u2019 vaccine platform, a system that uses genetically modified baculoviruses (DNA viruses that infect insects, especially their larval stages) to produce recombinant proteins in insect cells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SII will \u201cproduce and compare two H5 antigens for a recombinant protein vaccine: a wild-type and an AI-optimised, broad-spectrum H5 antigen designed by scientists at Houston Methodist Research Institute.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The vaccine is supposed to work \u201cacross multiple strains of H5 viruses, rather than just one.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CEPI claims this makes the new injection \u201cparticularly suited for use in unpredictable outbreak situations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The idea is to accomplish \u201ca fast response to a future pandemic threat.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The work will also \u201cserve as proof of concept for using AI to design vaccine antigens,\u201d proteins said to trigger an immune response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The new bird flu vaccine will be \u201cdesigned to power up global readiness to tackle pandemic threats, from early-stage vaccine development through to global manufacture and supply,\u201d said CEPI CEO Dr. Richard Hatchett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWith a potential pandemic influenza vaccine candidate already in development on a validated platform, and with a vaccine manufacturing juggernaut ready to go, the world\u2019s disease defences will be poised to respond swiftly with new vaccines, potentially in 100 days, should a flu virus erupt into a potentially deadly and fast-spreading human pandemic.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal is for the jabs to be \u201cquickly created.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SII and CEPI see their new bird flu jab as an \u201cideal candidate for faster responses against potential pandemic diseases.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis aligns with CEPI\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/cepi.net\/cepi-20-and-100-days-mission\">100 Days Mission<\/a>\u2014a goal embraced by leaders of the G7 and G20 to accelerate vaccine development to within 100 days of identifying a pandemic threat,\u201d the press release reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>SII CEO Adar Poonawalla said the new platform \u201cgives us the ability to rapidly develop and produce vaccines for emerging threats. This project will test that readiness in real terms, reinforcing our commitment to pandemic preparedness. The learnings will not only support faster response times but also ensure that effective vaccines can reach vulnerable populations without delay.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The project will also leverage the expertise of the U.K.\u2019s Francis Crick Institute for testing, according to the press release:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe project will also leverage the expertise of CEPI\u2019s Preclinical Model Network and Centralized Laboratory Network members\u2014the UK Health Security Agency and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency\u2014alongside the Francis Crick Institute, to conduct key testing activities to demonstrate that the wild-type and AI-optimised H5 vaccines are fit for purpose.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trump Admin Ties to Francis Crick Institute<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Back in February, this website <a href=\"https:\/\/jonfleetwood.substack.com\/p\/trumps-cdc-fda-actively-participating?utm_source=publication-search\">reported<\/a> that the CDC and FDA were \u201cactively participating\u201d in virtual meetings with the World Health Organization (WHO) at the Crick Worldwide Influenza Center in London, which is part of the Francis Crick Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The top U.S. health agencies were participating with the WHO despite President Donald Trump signing an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/presidential-actions\/2025\/01\/withdrawing-the-united-states-from-the-worldhealth-organization\/\">executive order<\/a> on January 20, 2025 that was supposed to officially withdraw the United States from the WHO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That order explicitly commanded to \u201crecall and reassign United States Government personnel or contractors working in any capacity with the WHO.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the Trump administration made concessions for influenza bird flu efforts, signaling its role in orchestrating another pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President Trump has since <a href=\"https:\/\/jonfleetwood.substack.com\/p\/bird-flu-takes-central-role-in-trump?utm_source=publication-search\">announced<\/a> the development of a \u201cnext-generation, universal vaccine platform\u201d called \u2018Generation Gold Standard\u2019 that will focus on bird flu jab creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gold Standard represents the institutionalization of a staggering conflict of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NIAID Director Dr. Jeffery Taubenberger\u2014who now oversees U.S. taxpayer-funded gain-of-function experiments creating new bird-flu viruses\u2014is also a <a href=\"https:\/\/jonfleetwood.substack.com\/p\/niaid-director-holds-patent-for-bird\">named inventor on the federal patent<\/a> for the program\u2019s beta-propiolactone (BPL)-inactivated \u201cuniversal\u201d bird flu vaccine at the center of Gold Standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is despite BPL being a <a href=\"https:\/\/jonfleetwood.substack.com\/p\/deadly-cancer-causing-chemical-bpl\">known carcinogen<\/a> classified as a \u2018Group 1B\u2019 substance in Europe and \u2018Group 2B\u2019 in the U.S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In other words, the same official <a href=\"https:\/\/jonfleetwood.substack.com\/p\/nih-funds-creation-of-new-frankenstein\">directing the creation of potentially pandemic-causing bird flu pathogens<\/a> is positioned to personally profit from the vaccine meant to counter them, raising profound national-security, informed-consent, and conflict-of-interest concerns at the very heart of America\u2019s pandemic-preparedness system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dr. Redfield\u2019s 2022 Bird Flu Warning<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Former CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield has predicted that a bird flu pandemic will be much worse than COVID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Redfield <a href=\"https:\/\/jonfleetwood.substack.com\/p\/vaccines-underway-for-all-9-of-whos?utm_source=publication-search\">expects<\/a> a bird flu pandemic to \u201chave significant mortality, in the ten to fifteen percent range.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t believe [COVID] is the \u2018great pandemic,\u2019\u201d he said in a March 2022 interview. \u201cI believe the great pandemic is still in the future. And that\u2019s going to be a bird flu pandemic from man. It\u2019s going to have significant mortality, in the ten to fifteen percent range. It\u2019s going to be trouble. And we should get prepared for it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Redfield emphasized the danger of this coming bird flu pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cI do believe that the pandemic risk is of greater risk to the national security of the United States than Korea, China, Russia, [and] Iran. And we ought to start investing proportional to that national security risk so we\u2019re prepared. Unfortunately, we\u2019re not more prepared today than we were when the [COVID] pandemic hit when I was CDC director.
