What he said about Islam is true and not all that controversial. I’ll say it plainly, Islam is a Satanic false religion, and it’s a perfect mirror for Christian eschatology. Their Mahdi, Messiah, is the Christian Antichrist, and their Issa, Jesus, is the false prophet. They even have their own version of Antichrist, the Dajjal that matches up with Christ’s millennial reign, who they say can travel the world instantly on his flying donkey, and he is blind in one eye. Consequently, this will seem to be the religion of those in the Millennial kingdom who try and war against Christ at the end when the demons are released for Christ to judge those who reject Him yet again, as Islam has sanctuary cities for when the Dajjal is active. And I even have a thought on who the Muslim Mahdi might be<\/a> as the time is growing near.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By prosecuting Father Custodio Ballester for warning about Islam, Spain spits on the memory of her forefathers who bled to resist Islamic conquest \u2014 and now surrenders to the very Sharia blasphemy laws they died to defeat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spain is preparing to make history\u2014for all the wrong reasons. On October 1, 2025, Father Custodio Ballester, a priest of the Archdiocese of Barcelona, stood before the Provincial Court of M\u00e1laga, accused of committing a so-called \u201chate crime\u201d for criticizing Islam. He now faces three years in prison and a period of eight years\u2019 disqualification from teaching. If convicted, Ballester would become the first priest in modern Spain imprisoned simply for speaking the truth about Islam, while the very ideology that enslaved their ancestors for centuries, that still persecutes and murders Christians worldwide, is shielded from criticism by Spanish authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Truth as a Crime<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The case dates back to 2017, when Father Ballester joined a televised panel discussion on La Ratonera<\/em> (aired on Alerta Digital TV) alongside fellow priest Jes\u00fas Calvo and journalist Armando Robles. During the program, Ballester stated what history itself records: Islam spread by the sword, not by peaceful preaching, and many mosques around the world still call for the destruction and extermination of the infidel. For these remarks, he was accused of \u201chate speech.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But Ballester\u2019s so-called \u201ccrime\u201d went beyond a single television appearance. In his article The Impossible Dialogue with Islam<\/em>, <\/a>published in 2016, he warned against the dangerous illusion that Christians can simply \u201cdialogue\u201d with an ideology that openly calls for their subjugation. Quoting directly from the Quran (Surah 9:29), he reminded readers of Islam\u2019s command: \u201cFight against those who have been given the Scripture\u2026 until they, in humiliation, pay the tribute directly!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the article, Ballester dismantled the false narrative of \u201cpeaceful coexistence,\u201d writing: \u201cIslam does not allow for dialogue. You either believe, or you are an infidel who must be subdued one way or another.\u201d He contrasted Christianity\u2019s crucified Savior with Muhammad, who \u201cspent his entire life going from raid to raid, subduing those who opposed him with blood and fire.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ballester also pointed to contemporary realities, recalling the 2011 car bombing of a Coptic cathedral in Alexandria that killed 21 Christians. He highlighted how Pope Benedict XVI courageously condemned the massacre as an attack on God and humanity, while Islam\u2019s leaders dismissed his words as \u201cinterference\u201d \u2014 exposing the dhimmi system that still forces Christians in Muslim countries to pay the jizya tax<\/strong> or face death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, he drove home the harsh truth: \u201cIf one continues to say that \u2018Islam is a religion of peace,\u2019 one only creates confusion and perplexity. Islam of today and always, with one hand promotes charitable works, while with the other it arms itself to annihilate all those who refuse to recognize Allah and Muhammad as the last and definitive prophet.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is for these words \u2014 citing Islam\u2019s own texts, recalling its bloody history, and defending persecuted Christians \u2014 that Ballester has been dragged into court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Islamic Terror Lobby Behind the Trial<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The driving force behind the prosecution is the radical Muslims Against Islamophobia (MCI), a group notorious for its generous subsidies and its support for Islamic terror regimes, including the Taliban. Its spokesman, Ibrahim Miguel \u00c1ngel P\u00e9rez\u2014an activist linked to Ada Colau\u2019s Barcelona en Com\u00fa party\u2014has a long record of hostility toward Christianity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On social media, he has declared Catholicism a \u201cshit religion\u201d and mocked the sacrament of confession as nothing more than a tool \u201cto cover up pedophiles.\u201d Yet while MCI leaders are free to insult Christianity without consequence, the Spanish state is prepared to jail a priest for exposing Islam\u2019s own history of violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Silence from the Bishops, Betrayal of the Faithful<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The scandal has been deepened by the silence of Spain\u2019s Catholic hierarchy. The Archdiocese of Barcelona has refused <\/a>to issue any public defense of Ballester, and the Spanish Episcopal Conference has done nothing to rally to his side. Only Cardinal Omella privately phoned Ballester to express personal solidarity. In the eyes of many faithful, this silence amounts to betrayal: bishops who should be defending their priests are instead abandoning them to the mercy of a hostile state and a militant Islamic lobby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Others, such as Joaqu\u00edn Garza in La Iberia<\/em>, have pointed out the Kafkaesque nature of the proceedings: a priest with over 25 years of ministry is being persecuted for remarks on a television program, while Spain\u2019s archives are full of vile attacks on Christianity that have never resulted in charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Muslims openly teach that all territory once conquered for Islam belongs to Islam forever. With over 45 million Muslims now living in Europe, this belief is no relic of history but a powerful driver of today\u2019s cultural war \u2014 one that most Europeans remain blind to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By prosecuting a priest for warning about Islam, Spanish authorities are not only silencing truth, they are betraying the very memory of their forefathers who fought and died in the Reconquista to defend Christendom from Islamic conquest. Instead of honoring that sacrifice, today\u2019s leaders enforce Sharia blasphemy laws on Spanish soil \u2014 surrendering without a fight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blasphemy Laws in Europe<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

If Father Ballester is convicted, Spain will not simply punish one priest \u2014 it will prove that the nation has already submitted to Sharia.
