There is a remarkable section of Isaiah 44 that gives a blueprint for discerning truth in the created world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\nIsaiah 44:24\u201328<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
[24] Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer,\n who formed you from the womb:\n\u201cI am the LORD, who made all things,\n who alone stretched out the heavens,\n who spread out the earth by myself,\n[25] who frustrates the signs of liars\n and makes fools of diviners,\nwho turns wise men back\n and makes their knowledge foolish,\n[26] who confirms the word of his servant\n and fulfills the counsel of his messengers,\nwho says of Jerusalem, \u2018She shall be inhabited,\u2019\n and of the cities of Judah, \u2018They shall be built,\n and I will raise up their ruins\u2019;\n[27] who says to the deep, \u2018Be dry;\n I will dry up your rivers\u2019;\n[28] who says of Cyrus, \u2018He is my shepherd,\n and he shall fulfill all my purpose\u2019;\nsaying of Jerusalem, \u2018She shall be built,\u2019\n and of the temple, \u2018Your foundation shall be laid.\u2019\u201d (ESV)<\/code><\/pre>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\nRight off the start, God says he formed you from the womb. So much for “my body, my choice”. But after God clearly states he created the universe and the earth, and all that is within it, he mentions frustrating the signs of liars. Brings to mind Al Gore and his ilk with their climate predictions which did not come to pass, promoting “global warming” which is really just a scheme to enrich and control. God then says he turns wise men back and makes their knowledge foolish. A lot of the supposed experts trying to persuade people to think a certain way are really fools who deny God while promoting human intellectualism as exceedingly more than it actually is. Unless God supernaturally intervenes they will miss the purpose of this life and not be reconciled to God, to perish for eternity in the Lake of Fire. And worth pointing out, beware these “experts” who don’t believe in God or His values as that’s your first sign they’re actually not very wise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But the signs all point to the end of this age coming soon, and God’s judgement being unleashed on all the unbelievers, which will be the end of injustice on the earth as Christ comes to reign in His perfect millennial kingdom. Consequently, at the conclusion of His judgement on the earth and all unbelievers, God will have to fix the earth as much will have been destroyed. But at the end of the millennial kingdom, the earth and this universe is headed for a fiery implosion and complete destruction, so what are the “experts” trying to save and preserve?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One further point of great significance, Jerusalem is populated by Jews as God said, and where in history has a nation been restored after 1900 years? That is one of the most powerful signs of the Bible being true along with God’s special relationship with Israel. Maranatha!<\/p>\n\n\n

Israel the LORD\u2019s Chosen<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
[1] \u201cBut now hear, O Jacob my servant,\n Israel whom I have chosen!\n[2] Thus says the LORD who made you,\n who formed you from the womb and will help you:\nFear not, O Jacob my servant,\n Jeshurun whom I have chosen.\n[3] For I will pour water on the thirsty land,\n and streams on the dry ground;\nI will pour my Spirit upon your offspring,\n and my blessing on your descendants.\n[4] They shall spring up among the grass\n like willows by flowing streams.\n[5] This one will say, \u2018I am the LORD\u2019s,\u2019\n another will call on the name of Jacob,\nand another will write on his hand, \u2018The LORD\u2019s,\u2019\n and name himself by the name of Israel.\u201d\n\n\nBesides Me There Is No God<\/strong>\n\n[6] Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel\n and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts:\n\u201cI am the first and I am the last;\n besides me there is no god.\n[7] Who is like me? Let him proclaim it.\n Let him declare and set it before me,\nsince I appointed an ancient people.\n Let them declare what is to come, and what will happen.\n[8] Fear not, nor be afraid;\n have I not told you from of old and declared it?\n And you are my witnesses!\nIs there a God besides me?\n There is no Rock; I know not any.\u201d\n\n\nThe Folly of Idolatry<\/strong><\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n[9] All who fashion idols are nothing, and the things they delight in do not profit. Their witnesses neither see nor know, that they may be put to shame. [10] Who fashions a god or casts an idol that is profitable for nothing? [11] Behold, all his companions shall be put to shame, and the craftsmen are only human. Let them all assemble, let them stand forth. They shall be terrified; they shall be put to shame together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
[12] The ironsmith takes a cutting tool and works it over the coals. He fashions it with hammers and works it with his strong arm. He becomes hungry, and his strength fails; he drinks no water and is faint. [13] The carpenter stretches a line; he marks it out with a pencil. He shapes it with planes and marks it with a compass. He shapes it into the figure of a man, with the beauty of a man, to dwell in a house. [14] He cuts down cedars, or he chooses a cypress tree or an oak and lets it grow strong among the trees of the forest. He plants a cedar and the rain nourishes it. [15] Then it becomes fuel for a man. He takes a part of it and warms himself; he kindles a fire and bakes bread. Also he makes a god and worships it; he makes it an idol and falls down before it. [16] Half of it he burns in the fire. Over the half he eats meat; he roasts it and is satisfied. Also he warms himself and says, \u201cAha, I am warm, I have seen the fire!\u201d [17] And the rest of it he makes into a god, his idol, and falls down to it and worships it. He prays to it and says, \u201cDeliver me, for you are my god!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
[18] They know not, nor do they discern, for he has shut their eyes, so that they cannot see, and their hearts, so that they cannot understand. [19] No one considers, nor is there knowledge or discernment to say, \u201cHalf of it I burned in the fire; I also baked bread on its coals; I roasted meat and have eaten. And shall I make the rest of it an abomination? Shall I fall down before a block of wood?\u201d [20] He feeds on ashes; a deluded heart has led him astray, and he cannot deliver himself or say, \u201cIs there not a lie in my right hand?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The LORD Redeems Israel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
