These are extremely interesting and coherent comments by Robert De Niro back in 2016. I’ve always thought he went too far then, and the whole flaming libtard shtick was to get back in the good graces of the OCGFC to get work. Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe<\/strong><\/em> is a 2016 American pseudoscience<\/a> propaganda film<\/a>[1]<\/a><\/sup>[2]<\/a><\/sup>[3]<\/a><\/sup> alleging a cover-up by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention<\/a> (CDC) of a purported link between the MMR vaccine and autism<\/a>.[4]<\/a><\/sup>[5]<\/a><\/sup>[6]<\/a><\/sup> According to Variety<\/em><\/a>, the film “purports to investigate the claims of a senior scientist at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention who revealed that the CDC had allegedly manipulated and destroyed data on an important study about autism<\/a> and the MMR vaccine”.[7]<\/a><\/sup> Critics derided Vaxxed<\/em> as an anti-vaccine<\/a> propaganda film.[8]<\/a><\/sup>[9]<\/a><\/sup>[10]<\/a><\/sup>[11]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The film received overwhelmingly negative reviews from academics and critics. The film was directed by discredited anti-vaccine activist Andrew Wakefield<\/a>, who was struck off the medical register in the United Kingdom in 2010 due to ethical violations related to his fraudulent research<\/a> into the role of vaccines<\/a> in autism.[4]<\/a><\/sup>[12]<\/a><\/sup>[13]<\/a><\/sup>[14]<\/a><\/sup> It was scheduled to premiere at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival<\/a> but was withdrawn by the festival.[15]<\/a><\/sup> In reviewing the film, Indiewire said that “Wakefield doesn’t just have a dog in this fight; he is the dog”.[16]<\/a><\/sup> In November 2019, a sequel, Vaxxed II: The People’s Truth<\/em>, was released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
