And the favorite target of Demonrats is going after vulnerable children to destroy them<\/a> with degeneracy, pharmaceuticals and white coats. Consequently, the wife and I have had conversations that a day could come when we need to move further into Wyoming and away from Colorado. Consequently, after a day of driving to the northern corner of the state to see Devil’s tower, Cheyenne with its 60,000 residents seemed like such a big city when we returned. And the only other big city in Wyoming is Casper which we recently visited and has about the same population, and quite nice with wonderful views from Casper Mountain. So there are plenty of places to go in Wyoming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Democrats in the Colorado State House just passed a transgender protections bill that will make it child abuse for a parent to misgender their child. They have to use the name and gender \u2013 pronouns \u2013 the child chooses \u2013 their own child. Not doing so will be considered child abuse. They are calling it \u201ccoercive control.\u201d Democrats have a clever name for everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parents would be accused of abuse if they say no to puberty blockers, hormones, and surgeries. The law is HB25-1312.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colorado parents need to wake up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bill adds protections for transgender people in schools and courts. It would require courts to consider as a form of coercive control actions like deadnaming \u2014 using a transgender person\u2019s previous name before transitioning to reject their identity \u2014 and misgendering in child custody decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It would also shield parents who help their child obtain gender-affirming care from court orders in other states that outlaw the practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSupporting a child\u2019s gender identity is indeed in the best interest of the child, and that support cannot be used against a loving and supportive parent in a dispute,\u201d said bill sponsor Rep. Rebekah Stewart, a Lakewood Democrat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This erodes parental rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schools could not adopt a gender-based dress code under the bill. If a school has an adopted policy related to chosen names, that policy would have to be \u201cinclusive of all reasons that a student might adopt a chosen name that differs from the student\u2019s legal name.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Democrats can pass the bill without Republican support. It is heading for the Senate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
