Mike Lee (R-UT) called for the United States to leave NATO in response to a Norwegian fuel company, Haltbakk Bunkers, deciding to stop refueling U.S. military ships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEurope doesn\u2019t love us,\u201d Lee wrote in a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BasedMikeLee\/status\/1895965082464706913\">post<\/a> on X. \u201cLet\u2019s leave NATO.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lee\u2019s post came in response to another post that noted that the company, Haltbakk Bunkers, had \u201cstopped refueling the U.S. Navy ships\u201d and was reportedly urging other European countries to \u201cfollow suit.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement issued by Haltbakk Bunkers, the company explained that it would \u201cno longer supply American military ships in Norway or those docking in Norwegian ports,\u201d adding that the U.S. was \u201cexcluded based on their behaviour towards\u201d Ukraine, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-14451333\/US-fuel-supplier-cuts-ties-American-military-strongly-worded-Trumps-Oval-Office-Zelensky.html\">according to<\/a> the <em>Daily Mail<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decision from the fuel company comes after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was asked to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2025\/02\/28\/trump-kicks-zelensky-out-white-house-cancels-press-conference-after-ukrainians-unhinged-oval-office-outburst\/\">leave<\/a> the White House after he made several disrespectful comments during a meeting in the Oval Office with President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe United States is excluded based on their behaviour towards the Ukrainians,\u201d the company said, according to the outlet. https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/t\/assets\/html\/tweet-4.html#1895965082464706913<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company also wrote, \u201cNo Fuel to Americans,\u201d and encouraged other countries to \u201cfollow suit,\u201d according to the outlet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the meeting between Zelensky and Trump, several European leaders <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2025\/02\/28\/hungarys-viktor-orban-backs-trump-after-zelenskys-oval-office-meltdown-trump-stood-bravely-for-peace\/\">posted<\/a> messages of support on X, that they stood with Ukraine and Zelensky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Breitbart News\u2019s Katherine Hamilton previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2025\/02\/28\/trump-kicks-zelensky-out-white-house-cancels-press-conference-after-ukrainians-unhinged-oval-office-outburst\/\">reported<\/a>, during the meeting Zelensky \u201ccriticized European governments and previous U.S. administrations,\u201d for having failed \u201cto stop\u201d Russian President Vladimir Putin \u201cafter he annexed and occupied Crimea in 2014.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After Vance \u201ccalled for \u2018engaging in diplomacy\u2019 as a \u2018path to peace, the path to prosperity,\u201d Zelensky went on to question \u201cwhat kind of diplomacy\u201d he was talking about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWith respect, I think it\u2019s disrespectful for you to come into the Oval Office to try to litigate this in front of the American media,\u201d Vance said after Zelensky had dismissed his idea of diplomacy. \u201cRight now you guys are going around and forcing conscripts to the front lines because you have manpower problems. You should be thanking the president for trying to bring an end to this conflict.\u201d https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/t\/assets\/html\/tweet-4.html#1895590525454983416<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the conversation, Trump also corrected Zelensky when he implied that Ukraine had \u201cbeen alone\u201d in the war against Russia. Trump pointed out that the U.S. has supported Ukraine with military and monetary aid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou haven\u2019t been alone,\u201d Trump said to Zelensky. \u201cWe gave you, through [our] stupid president, $350 billion. We gave you military equipment \u2026 If you didn\u2019t have our military equipment, this war would\u2019ve been over in two weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the meeting, the White House <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ShelbyTalcott\/status\/1895554834431901940\">confirmed<\/a> that Zelensky had not signed the minerals deal, and that he had been asked to leave. Trump went on to write in a statement that \u201cZelensky is not ready for Peace if America is involved,\u201d and added that \u201che can come back when he is ready for Peace.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ZelenskyyUa\/status\/1895793627164471777\">post<\/a> on X early Saturday morning, Zelensky expressed gratefulness to the U.S. \u201cfor all the support,\u201d and continued on to state that he was \u201cready to sign the minerals agreement.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These NATO countries just aren&#8217;t loyal, so why are we spending so much money to protect them?
