Apple is going to decline even further as they hire based on race and perversion over merit. Personally, I never cared for the company or the premiums they charged for hardware, but then I was exempt from their reality distortion field. Consequently, I have an interesting post<\/a> on how Apple is moving to limiting what software you can run on their devices, which in fairness is what Google and Microsoft are working towards as well. And open source projects are even under DEI attack as they’re trying to take over projects and force out people that won’t go along, and you can bet board seats are up for donations given to the foundations. But for now, with Linux you can compile and run whatever software you like and there will be freedom loving versions supported by conservatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple shareholders have rejected a proposal to halt the company\u2019s diversity<\/a>, equity, and inclusion (DEI<\/a>) program, as many other companies are ditching DEI. The initiative to end woke DEI policies at Apple<\/a> was led by the National Center for Public Policy Research, a conservative think tank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the proposal, the center cited potential litigation and financial risks linked to DEI programs as a primary<\/a> concern for shareholders. A similar proposal was previously rejected<\/a> at Costco\u2019s annual meeting. Apple CEO Tim Cook<\/a> said that the company\u2019s culture<\/a> relies on hiring exceptional talent and fostering collaboration. \u201cWe\u2019ve never had quotas or targets for Apple,\u201d Cook claimed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent months, businesses like Google<\/a>, Target, and Disney <\/a>have reduced or eliminated their DEI programs. Conservative activism and court<\/a> decisions have largely influenced the policy changes, with many companies scrapping DEI after President Trump\u2019s election<\/a> win last November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first days of his administration, President Trump signed<\/a> an executive order to eliminate DEI within the federal government and among federal government contractors.
