I once used my handgun when I lived in Sacramento, CA to keep would be home intruders out. They kicked in my door, but after hearing the Colt racked, they fled. Which was good for them, as getting woke up at 0430 hours I had decided to shoot whoever came through the door and was not looking for weapons (legal and Biblically acceptable). The state has some of the most relaxed&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nraila.org\/gun-laws\/state-gun-laws\/montana\/\">gun control laws<\/a>&nbsp;in America. No state permit is required to purchase or possess a rifle, shotgun, or handgun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The state is followed on our list by its neighbor, Wyoming, where 66.2% of adults own a firearm.
